It’s Amazing!

I do not know if this is the experience of all, many or no other blogger, but I find it jaw-dropping amazing how I feel led to post an article only to find another blog I follow posting the same message either the same day (once it was within minutes!) or within a few days. Or I am led to a new blog which has published the same message.

“Glory belongs to God, whose power is at work in us. By this power he can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20 God’s Word).

Another Lesson in the Garage

Oh my, the garage again. The first incident saw the original canvas cover split from front to back along the top pole. Last time the whole frame took off and landed on my back steps. This time the new roof shredded.

The big tarp we bought to cover it simply did not have the strength for the job. The wind tore the roof apart. A good idea that didn’t work because it wasn’t made of the right stuff. Read more…

Which Law?

People follow church laws and regulations, social customs, cultural norms and family traditions. Much of the time they do so without even thinking because these standards are such a part of our living, and following these brings rewards and acceptance while failure to conform brings censure. So it is easier to ride the current than to examine expectations.

Jesus rebelled against such rules when the rules abused people or replaced God. Read more…
