Crises Crisis

While we might curse the crises that upset our lives and threaten our health, we are nonetheless forced by such problems to go deeper to derive meaning from them in an unstable world. Finally, we may be able to respond as Emerson responded when a man told him that the end of the world was imminent. Emerson calmly replied, “I can live without it.”
