Have you ever felt like a salt shaker? You know, passed around, never left alone, even turned upside down.
Of course, if the salt is old and crusty it doesn’t get passed around, but pitched.
Or if the salt gets wet and turns into a solid, immoveable mass it gets tossed.
The thing is, salt in a shaker is useless. And the only way to make salt useful is for the shaker to get shaken.
“You are salt for the earth. But if salt loses its taste, how will it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled on by people” (Matthew 5:13 God’s Word©).
I pray you get shaken a lot, that what is in you, the salt, will season the community around you. I figure it is better to get shaken than trampled!

Thank you. When it came like a flood to my mind it helped me.
Peace

I love the insight of this post. “Ye are the salt of the world”. How else are we to impact the world if we are not shaken? Thank you or the reminder.
