I was talking with my supervisor during one of his field visits. Somehow we got on the topic of retirement. I mentioned that our youngest daughter told me recently I could quit work and she would keep us.

As a gardener I hate squirrels. They dig up newly planted flowers. They dig holes in patio boxes to bury food. And to top it off, they started eating our peppers before they ripen!

So I got to work last night and the fragrance of newly placed animal waste wafted over the area. Now since some of my genes (or is that spelled jeans?) include an agricultural interest that smell did not constitute a deadly nuisance.
