If I begin my thinking and actions with love, heavenly love, not emotional love, then what I end up doing may end up honourable.
The challenge arises when an honourable person critiques me.
The challenge rises with more demand when a legitimate criticism gets shoved down my throat, sideways with barbs and poison.
I am responsible for my reaction.
What if I lived the Bible instead of giving it a mere hypocritical nod?
“Whoever ignores discipline despises self, but the person who listens to warning gains understanding. The fear of the Lord is discipline {leading to} wisdom, and humility comes before honor” (Proverbs 15:32-33 God’s Word ©).

Yet it is so much easier to accept correction from a gentle spirit than a power-maniac psycho. Jesus was our example in that, but a hard one to copy.

Indeed. A person who is secure in his identity in Christ will humbly accept criticism.

Yes, we are the body with many parts, a choir (not soloists). Too many people want to be the head, instead of serving THE Head of the Church. I pray that people may learn that. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

For me this is one of the major problems with church today. So many churches splitting and doing their own thing because leaders fail to acknowledge the wisdom in others.
