Isn’t it weird how hard we work to hold on to things which God has erased?
“The Lord is compassionate, merciful, patient,
and always ready to forgive.
He will not always accuse us of wrong
or be angry {with us} forever.
He has not treated us as we deserve for our sins
or paid us back for our wrongs.
As high as the heavens are above the earth—
that is how vast his mercy is toward those who fear him.
As far as the east is from the west—
that is how far he has removed our rebellious acts from himself.
As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him”
(Psalm 103:8-13 God’s Word).
We feel guilt and shame and more over sins we have committed, but “God is faithful and reliable. If we confess our sins, he forgives them and cleanses us from everything we’ve done wrong” (1 John 1:9 God’s Word).
We feel deep discouragement over past failures, which demons work overtime to remind us about.
But God tilts the divine head and questions, “What sin was that? I don’t remember!”
Stop wallowing in mud that God cleaned up, that Jesus died for already and which Paraclete lifts us out of.
What a God!

So do I! Some days go good, others I find my memory goes overactive!
Nevertheless, thanks for your feedback; it is appreciated.
