I just found another kindred spirit in cyber world, brutalized by religion and, like Paul, left outside the “city walls” as dead. That does not make the story, for what humans intended for evil God turns for good. “We know that suffering creates endurance, endurance creates character, and character creates confidence. We’re not ashamed to have this confidence” (Romans 5:3-5 God’s Word).

Where did all the followers of Jesus go in this, and similar cases?

When the destroyers targeted me, each time someone would come to me and say they would not openly protect me because that would make them a target, too, and they could not pay the price.  Even though it says 6 times in the Gospels, “Those who try to save their lives will lose them, and those who lose their lives will save them” (Luke 17:33, for example God’s Word) individuals, congregations and whole denominations set their own survival as a primary goal.

So right where you live, what pastor is being “murdered” for faithfulness to the Good News above the system. Which church member has been shunned (or worse) because they follow Jesus, not doctrine?

I heard one church member explicitly say they didn’t want to hear what sins their leadership committed, thinking ignorance would insulate them from guilt.

Rise up against religious bullies. Resist the devil.

For Christ’s sake and that of innocent saints, use the armour God gives you and send evil into retreat! (Read Ephesians 6:10-17)

Grow up. Arm up. Line up. Put up and stop with the shut up.

Anything less is not love, and without love you are just a big noise (1 Corinthians 13).

Instead, let the big noise be the sound of evil staggering away in defeat.
